The Stagecoach Inn is nestled in the Bitterroot Mountains along the beautiful Salmon River. With new ownership we have 100 newly refurnished clean and spacious rooms, most with private balconies. We have also updated our breakfast and sitting areas

Lemhi County, the birth place of Sacagawea the intrepid Native American explorer, and also where she re-joined her brother and tribe as an interpreter for the Lewis and Clark expedition in 1805. If you want to know more about her life story click here.

We have many land posts named for the Lewis and Clark Expedition. In memory of these early times, Salmon, Idaho has created a fine visitors center and tourist attraction in the Sacagawea Center. Come visit us today.
